Jane Fraser
1ère femme CEO grande banque US.
Chief executive of Citigroup, Jane Fraser is the first woman to lead a major Wall Street bank. Born in Scotland and educated at Cambridge and Harvard Business School, with earlier stints at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey, she joined Citi in 2004 and ran its private bank, its Latin American operations and its global consumer business before taking the top job in 2021. She has since led a deep transformation of the group, exiting retail banking in many countries, simplifying the organization and refocusing it on its strongest businesses.
She is carrying out one of the decade's most ambitious bank restructurings with method, and opening the way for other women at the top of global finance.
